This is a generator to create custom length lego train tracks. It is designed with a lot of compromise to make it printable with PLA on a budget printer. They snap fairly well to original LEGO rail track, but not as well to other printed parts.
Prints well with PLA and also fairly well with PETG. However, the PET makes for a lot of post print processing as the lift-intense print path causes lots of stringing and blobs.
If the snap attachment is not working well enough, I have also included a simple flat plate that can be used to help attaching pieces together.
The buffer stop consists of multiple pieces for printability. It was designed in collaboration with my 5 year old son. I know that the M3 machine screw does not look well in a LEGO piece, but I did not have the heart to tell him that.
Please note that printing rail track pieces as very economically inefficient compared to buying the original pieces from you local store!
