I couldn't print it because I need a fan mount to cool off the PLA quicker

Have you tried lowering your translation speed (i.e. the x- and y-axis speed) to allow more time for cooling of the polymer?

Actually, I found out the problem. Because the solid infill was too packed, the cooling plastic would pull up and harden, then causes the next layer to be blocked by the already-cooled, unintentional walls. All I had to do was widen the extruder diameter in my Slic3r setting. The fan mount came out rather well!

good for , you !
i just wanted to say that i did not had this problem as i was printing with abs (on printRbot)

Printed @ 40mm/s with PLA from Ultimachine. Unfortunately, I suppose my fan is weak, since I am getting very little airflow out of the nozzle. I am getting more airflow with an open design like http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26775http://www.thingiverse.com/thi... until I can get another fan to try.

yep , i get the same issue , but i like the fact that the air flow , even if reduced , is quite directional , and doesn t cool down the bed so much .

Thanks for the shout out!!

sorry , i am not native english speaker , i am not sure if you mean like "assassination" or "spreading the word by screaming out loud" ,
if it is the latter , i am sorry , it is my first week of printing and my layers binding is not excellent yet , but even if it is not clipping anymore , it has a nice pinching that keep it in place  , also , there is an issue where the bolts are on the way .

anyhow , thanks for the file , i am using your fan mount eveydays   :)

No problem.  Just saying thank you for referencing my original design.  Best of luck!!
