Any idea which vertebrae this is?

Should one between L1 and L5. You can see how the processus articularis are in the sagittal plane. That's typical for those

Is there a way you could make a mechanical model for the sacrum, pelvis and lumbar spine? I use interactive models on my iPad to educate clients. Using a 3d model would be much easier and I wondered if you could create something like this:

Cool model! I'm a PhD student at Texas A&M focusing on printing bone scaffolds for tissue engineering. I decided to print this with my own specialized printer that makes bone constructs and really appreciate you uploading the model!
I was wondering how you printed the part (on a reprap or commercial extrusion based printer? and was it PLA or ABS?)
Did it need any support material? Great stuff!

Hi! Thanks for the comment.
Actually, we're using at our engineering school a Replicator 2 model. This vertebrae was printed using true white PLA from Makerbot, with raft and support.
Other 3D bone models will soon follow this one.
