simple and effective!

What is the name of the tube used?

Thank you so much for your pump, I wanted to print one since many months.

how much psi could this generate?

Very cool. Peristaltic pumps are not cheap, and here is a $5 version. Have you tried scaling it up for larger tubing?

You can save some money on expensive peristaltic tubing by only using enough to wrap the rotor and stick out the inlet/outlet a few cms, then couple to much cheaper tubing. This also makes it easy to replace worn out pump tubing, which is inevitable.

peristalic pumps always fascinate me!

What bearings are you using? And what's the ID/OD of the tube? Really cool little pump, I have big plans for it!

thank you my friend !! what you want to make?

it's part of a bigger project. I need something that provides a very slow but precise supply of water to some ultrasonic humidifiers. Currently I use a wick to do this but they're unreliable over long periods of time and constantly have to be replaced. I didn't know a pump like this existed until I saw your design

the size without the motor is 31 x 31 x 11 mm .. this tube is 3.2mm with 1.6mm hole. the motor is from air condition's flaps. the bearings are from a gpu fan olso you can find them from cpu fan the outer diammeter is 8mm , the inside diammeter is 3mm and the height is 4mm

thanks, that's really helpful! I have got one up and running - it's quite impressive how high it can pump water, I've had mine pumping water over a metre high quite easily

It's a 28BYJ-48 motor...really cool..but not crazy fast
Great job!

Thank you my friend!
Yes, is slow...
