Vidroc 808 BT-50 Nose Cone
This design makes it fairly simple to add an 808 Camera to your BT-50 based rocket. It takes advantage of the narrow body of the 808 and records the flight 'sideways'.
The single hole version is for cameras that can record on power-up. The long hole version is for cameras that require two different buttons to be pushed to start recording.
I've tested this with a number of different 808 cameras and the fit is good, but I primarily designed it for the MateCam 808.
- 2mm hole in the tip for hanging the camera looking down during recovery.
- Slot in the nose cone shoulder so you can run the nose tip shroud line into the airframe
When I print it, I put supports across the upper openings but you may be able to print it without doing that.
Note: the fins are in a previous posting.
