almost a year ago I assembled my first 3d printer (an elaborated version of Prusa Mendel). During these last sixt monts I have tried to understand if it could be possible to produce a printer with opposite movements of both plate and extruder on x and y axis.
I imagined then this structure and here you have these first stl files. I inspirate myself to http://www.mechanical-space.com and thanks to the collaboration with CSP Piemonte ( http://www.csp.it/?lang=en ) in the next weeks we will start tests to verify electronical functioning. Within this summer I will then release a whole project.
Thanks to everybody for any comments and suggestions
