What's your Sref for the wing?

The wing area is about 0.14109 meters squared. I used that value for calculating lift, but for drag I used cross sectional area which is about 0.02341 meters squared.

very different looking airframe. looks like it should fly though it also does look like it may be a bit tail heavy. have you found center of gravity and if so where does it sit on this plane im curious. i have made a few things to fly but we have so much snow still i have to wait and it is hard lol. happy flying!

Thanks! The huge battery and the front landing gear actually bring the center of gravity to about where the ailerons meet the wings. It still is a little tail heavy though, so I might put some ballast in the nose cone to move the cg forward if it turns out to be an issue.

Yes, that is far too aft for the cg. Generally, the cg should be about 1/4 width of the wing back from the leading edge, definitely ahead of the thickest part of the wing. I have been making and flying my own RC planes for years now, and I can assure you, it will most likely be far too tail heavy to control. I don't want you to break the prototype you have obviously put so many hours in designing, printing, and building!

Thanks for the info! I'll definitely put something in the nose cone to fix that then. I don't really have any experience making things that fly (except in Kerbal Space Program :D), so I really appreciate the help.
