This is #1 of a four model set of jellyfish/octopus-like-robots. It was made after testing some printable tentacles for another project and it turned enough nice to share.
It'a a multipart model but no extra hardware or glue/tape required for asembling. Using a insert+twist system, same as a screw.
All parts can be printed without supports using minimal infill and i also included a few pictures with instructions.
Included an alternative 'mod' for the upper part of the core engine. It has some 'dampers' as separated files for printing in different colour and assemble.
Thanks to Grafit & Greg for beta testing and sharing some nice photos.
Hope you enjoy it!
For printing small parts as tentacles parts i recommend using a brim or raft. You can avoid brim/raft if your bed has enough adhesion.
Infill not needed in many parts but useful as inner supports for some files as the engine parts.
Printing and assembling
Assembling: Just push and 'click' the red parts over the purple. Pins inside will keep the tentacle fixed
Disassemble using a pliers and opening the beads
