Update (10 MAR 19)
Dice_Tray_Felt file added. This tray is 0.5mm shallower to allow more room for felt in the tray and still allow proper folding. Only print this file if you intend to line the tray with felt. Although my print still closed properly with felt I had to find very thin felt to achieve what I wanted. Now you should be able to use pretty standard stuff.
Found the original compact dice tower to have a few things I disliked and changed them.
-rounded the tray hinge design
-Increased thickness of tray back wall
-added rampart design
-added D20 insignia
AMZ WOOD PLA
Minimal support for the hinge and connection on the tower as well as some support to help the bridging at the tower exit.
Sanded and stained with walnut colour.
Very THIN felt added to tray and exit ramp so it can still close properly.
QUICK TIP FOR FELTING :D
-First buy some very wide masking tape
-Stick the masking tape to the felt on the side you want to stick down
-Make sure the tape is smooth with no wrinkles or bubbles
-Measure out the shape you want to cut on to the tape
-Using very sharp scissors cut the shape out through the tape. This helps the felt hold its shape as you cut and makes the whole process easier!
-Once the shape is cut out remove the tape which will pull the fibres slightly which in a lot of cases makes this side better for gluing down especially if the felt is quite resinous.
-Glue in your felt piece and pull the sides to make the piece flush. I usually use the flat end of a craft knife to push the fibres sticking up at the edges down into the glue. Done!
(I generally use UHU all purpose adhesive solvent free)
