This design is my latest clockwork design. It was modeled it after a Jaeger-LeCoutre Gyrotourbillon, which they offer in several of their high-end watches. I tried to make the model an accurate (scaled up) version of the original mechanism, which is less that 10mm in diameter. Spending many hours looking at videos of the mechanism to try to get it right. The project started only 4 weeks ago, and I've been fortunate that everything has fallen together nicely.
Based on cshake's make feedback I've posted STLs for a larger L2 Counter Weight (L2 Counter Weight 2.stl and L2 Counter Weight Cover 2.stl). According to his analysis, the counter weight should be about 15g, and my old (smaller) counter weights only provided 3g. I also posted a new "L1Drive Gear 50T 1M 2" STL that has a recess so the gear won't rub against the L2 Frame.
Added forgotten L3 Base Bottom Cover to Thing Files. This is a very tight fit, so you will have to file the edges.

This model is about 175mm in diameter. I power it with a 2 Amp USB power supply.
