Summary

Something fun.

Mesh ball created in TopMod, imported into blender.
It bounces off a concrete floor... not sure how long for though :)

Would make a great cat toy too.

Instructions

Once printed, you can remove the 'support' for the inner ball by pushing a thin screw driver directly from the top towards the bottom.

How to get this to print well? Mine keeps curling up, and then the printer head pulls it off the bed.

Meshception.

Sorry, but I had to do it.

Wow! This thing sounds awesome when it's printing!

can this be printed on machines without support material ?

It printed great on my Prusa Mendel with no support. (And yes, it makes a great cat toy!)

printed well. cleaned it up a bit with and exacto knife. broke off base of inner ball, so that the inner ball would rattle around inside. :)

I had some very minor sagging, but yes, it printed well without support structure. Mine had lots of strings, and it was a lot of work to clean them off, but perhaps a better calibrated machine would not have that problem.
