Built this on my printer. Unfortunately a wide mouth mason jar will only screw down so far because of the lip on the jar and it wont make contact with the bottom lip of the feeder. if you could fix that it would be awesome.

This print locked up two times in a row at the same spot for me... Not a common issue for me using S3D and this printer, there is some unhealed stuff from the modification - so I don't know if it's that. Going to try a new SD card and see.

I've printed 4 of them so far, the only issue I had was some stringyness on some of the threads. Personally I've had the issue you've described on a few occasions and it was the file corrupted on the SD card, so I hope that fixes it for you.

Best of luck getting it printed, also on a side note be careful not to over tighten the jar. I did that on one of them and it cracked, just a tiny crack, but that was enough to cause it to leak sugar water all over.

Cool addition, and thanks for posting your make. Cheers!

It's so irritating to print something only to find there's a major design flaw. And don't dare mention it to the original designer. Most get indignant like they did you a favor by creating this flawed object. No, you just wasted my plastic.

I really don't see it as a design flaw, I guess I see it more as an opportunity to help improve on the original design. Personally I'm not much of a designer myself, I just use Windows 3D builder to cobble together what few things I've created or remixed. That's the beauty of sites like Thingiverse and the creative commons license, it allows the community to continuously improve on designs.
