This generates a Fibonacci tile - see Christoffel and Fibonacci Tiles

These tiles tessellate. The inset parameter insets the tile to determine the interference in a 3D print or (negatively) the offset to account for the kerf in laser cutting.
The Wikipedia article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibonacci_word_fractal claims that there is a hole in the tessellation but I don't see that.
My misreading of the Wikipedia article - this version is there called the Fibonacci snowflake and it does tile the plane.
2019-03-17 - I also missed out one order - now added
(the jpgs are generated from another OpenSCAD script which does the tessellation)
2019-03-17 issue with offsetting tiles fixed
