Although many parts are listed, and included, this piece prints with only 5 parts. There are several "extra" parts included which allow the end user (You) to use several different sprinkler pipes. This allows you to use what's on hand instead of buying. The pipe is NOT included as it is such a cheap and easy piece to buy - and cut to length, that I did not make a printable one. This is very simple and easy to print and assemble. No supports are needed for any of the pieces. Have fun!
G2_2_G3_Adapter.stl - Adapter ring to use a Gen2 Dot in this model.
G3_microphone_back_half_v2.stl - The rear section of the microphone shell.
G3_microphone_Dome_75.stl - The base for the microphone stand - built in 3/4" sprinkler pipe adapter.
G3_microphone_Dome_50.stl - The base for the microphone stand - built in 1/2" sprinkler pipe adapter.
Only ONE of these needs printing - depending upon the size pipe used.

Pipe_Adapter_straight_ID.stl - Fits I.D. of 3/4" sprinkler pipe to adapt the swivel.
Ring.stl Insert ring to allow 3/4 pipe to fit over 1/2 pipe, or fittings.
After TEST FITTING all the parts you intend to USE, then and only then begin to paint and finish these parts.
The Dot USB cord needs to be routed up through the rear microphone shell after the joiner is in place and glued. Then the cord should be plugged into the Dot and the Dot placed inside the rear shell. Now press the front shell to the rear shell sandwiching the joiner between. DO NOT GLUE THE FRONT SHELL TO THE JOINER! The front shell WILL fit over the joiner - extra pressure at the corners my be necessary, but it will press fit onto the rear shell and joiner making as small a seam as is possible.
From there is is a simple matter to join the swivel part using a bolt and nut of choice that will fit, and placing this assembly atop the pipe of your choice. Then simply glue this to the base you have chosen and put this on display where ever you like.
I used 10% because it doesn't need a lot of strength just to hold a Dot up.
I print white, but you may chosse the colors you desire.
