Cool! Do you have any photos or instructions for the electronics? How you wired it up? On/off switch, etc? Definitely a fun ‘little’ project that will stand out a lot.

Thank you. I'll try to post a close-up of the electronics. Basically, I placed a strip of copper tape on the inside of each rectangular extension, leading into the battery chamber on each piece. I inserted the LEDs (5mm) through the holes and bent the wire leads from each LED to make contact with the two trips of copper, making sure that the longer lead (+) connected with the tape that would be contacting the + side of the two CR2032 batteries. There is no switch, as I was rushing to assemble this before a performance, but just squeezing the battery compartment together turns it on, and slightly pulling it apart turns it off. Originally, I just let the leads from the LEDs make contact on the tape by touching it, but they would bend after repeated activation, so I ended up soldering them all. That's going to complicate opening it up to remove/replace the batteries, so a switch might be incorporated in the future.

Wow! Awesome! What a clever design! And thanks for crediting me :-)

Thanks, and you're welcome. I checked out your SFX show... pretty wild!
