Trying to organize my bathroom space. I created a stand for my electric razor utilizing the existing recharging cord. My razor is a PT730 or 3500. I'm sure others will fit.
While I would have preferred a lower stand, the height is due to the strain relief at base of power cord plug. I built 2 tabs on the underside of the upper base unit which were intended to grip the cord plug. One actually broke off as I tried to adjust fine tune the fit. My tabs were u-shaped and didn't flex as much as I was hoping. I have since cut more from the sides so tabs are planer. I never replaced the broken tab as the protrusion coming up from the lower unit seems to do all the work. My tabs holding the upper and lower units together wasn't working all that well. I beefed up those tabs, but in the end I simply put a few drops of acetone in 4 spots gluing the 2 units after confirming the fit. MAKE SURE THE PLUG STICKS UP HIGH ENOUGH TO GET POWER TO THE RAZOR BEFORE ANY GLUING.
Mine works fine so I'm not going to print another to verify improvements I made.
