what is the purpose of the 4 eyed one?

To demonstrate the configuration options. And 4-eyes aliens can have their toy, too.

Awesome design! Its so cute. I'll get a picture in a bit.

For those who may be confused, my Makerbot Replicator 2 printed this fine, but my other printers did not. They didn't print the little insides of the inner eye very well. I believe that this was because my other printers have .4 mm extruders, whereas the rep 2 has a .35 mm one. This made the slicer simplify the insides of the eye, making it just a ring (when looking at it from the front). I'm still working on how to fix it, but I thought I'd let people know in case they were having the same problem and were confused.

Try to print version 12. It should be easier to print if you dont have a makerbot at hand.

you should've called this "custom eyes"

I customized one with a smaller ring size. However, it turns out the ring behind the eye ball became larger. The eye ball dropped from the ring. I guess this is a bug.

Please try the customizer again. An hour ago, I uploaded a new version which will work for smaller ring sizes.

Cool thing, Thanks for sharing!!

Very cool! I was feeling lazy so I just downloaded the premade file rather than customizing, and scaled it by 0.8 to make a ring perfect for my 5 year old. Scaling by 0.9 would probably be a good size for a kid around 8-10.

Nice! looks like some toy i saw at dollar store hehe

Very funny and smart use of the 3D printing potential. Collected:)

Very Cool! - ="thingiverse:disqus" href="http://disqus.com/thingiverse/MakerBot Industries - This could be a good featured item. It's funny and sports an interesting building technique.

Hi! God idea with this model, but I can't customize is. You forgot to upload .scad file i think.. Here what Customizer said: Sorry! This thing does not have any openscad files and cannot be customized.
Anyway hanks for model ;)

Looks like it's fixed now.
