Thanks for the time you put into this! How have the parts worked out/held up for you?

They're still on the CNC and have been working great. I built it in January and no issues so far.

I only have PLA at the moment so wondering if it's worth a try?

In addition to my previous comment, if you're planning on using an enclosure like I did then consider using a plastic that can withstand higher temperatures (petg, abs, nylon). I'm not sure if it's warm enough to affect PLA, but it can get warm inside the enclosure after a 1.5 hour cut.

I like using PETG because it can withstand higher temperatures and is strong, but PLA should work fine. If you search through the forum (https://www.v1engineering.com/forum/) you'll find plenty of people mention they used PLA for the parts.

Ryan also made a comment here that PLA is fine: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3026040/comments ("With this build it should not matter so much but PLA if far more rigid.").
