Is it just me or is the stl file empty? It's just a 25kB file... When I open it in Cura, it doesn't show anything :/

Again thank you guys for making these awesome designs, and I am super great full for your previous reply to work out a rigid body model - pseudo rigid body and improvements through FEM. I am getting some fun results however I do have a cheeky question did you guys make a paper on how this specific structure was created?

Does the sharp angle turns of the design serve specific purposes?

Would it not relieve more structural stress if they were rounded? For e.g. like a cartoon flower petals shape?

I suggest you look at their website at https://www.compliantmechanisms.byu.edu/ on this. I think they have a few papers published as well, if you are interested in the specific mechanics.
