Edit #1: V1 seems to be a bit too tight with a designed diameter of +.1mm for both holes (at least on my printer). Currently doing a redesign with +.5mm. Sadly there is no chance to fit this template reverse for inner measuring. I will keep the 37mm to the other side nevertheless since this supports the trimmer base nicely.
Edit #1: V2 with .5mm clearance fits nicely on the 20mm template guide. Unfortunately I hid my 5mm somewhere and can't find them right now. Once I can confirm their fit I will drill a few holes and make some photos so everyone knows how to use the template and what the final result looks like. Oh, and I coarsed the mesh a bit. Looks like the resolution was a little bit too high last time (153 MB).
I designed this as a kind-of drilling template for my laminate trimmer (Makita clone).
You can buy all sorts of drill-guides for 5mm drills to create a 32mm grid in the walls of a bookshelf but until now I found none to be used with a router and a template guide.
The first design is for 5mm studs (5.1mm hole) and a 20mm template guide (20.1mm hole).
Since my template guide didn't arrive yet this design hasn't been tested yet.
According to design rules of system32 one edge can be placed on the OUTSIDE of sidewall and gives 37mm distance, the other can be placed INSIDE and gives another 37mm distance (probably won't work because the router base will collide with the guide). Print a mirrored version to work in both directions.
