This is a Human dummy designed to be as close as possible to Heroic Scale proportions.
- Heroic proportions .......... done
- Slightly to thin, so I can do additive sculpting over it ........ OK, I guess
- Rigging .......... done
- Rigging with inverse kinematics .......... done
- Practical handles to move him around ........ done
Based on an original model by Francisco Athens (realistic proportions).
Find his model here: https://opengameart.org/content/base-human-models-low-poly-for-blender-25x
Let's keep a log of this file, shall we?
I made a first print, and I noticed that the crouch area was too high (not really visible on the picture below), the arms a bit to small and the head quite too large.
I have corrected this in v1.1.
v1.0 (posed for easier printing and measuring)
v1.1 to v1.2
I have slightly repositioned the legs, added a few vertices loops and start rigging.
Rather than waiting for the rigging process to be done to post a blender file, I decided to version it on GitHub:
Feel free to contribute!
Once a stable version will be reached, I will upload it here too.
The dummy is ready to use!
I am able to pose it as I want (with a bit of practice).
Now we can make great minis!
