Love your project! Thank you so much for sharing!! I'll be printing this as soon as I get my Geeetech back up & running!

So, how does this work? Can you actually use your own set of data to generate your own unique tile?

Is there also an indication of how much data represents is needed for lets say 10x10 cm?

I'm really curious about your project. ;)

If you hit the 'Open in Customizer' link on the top right of this page, you will be presented with a page that allows you to enter in any text you want. This text will then be generated into a tile.

The default text you see on the sample tile is a quote taken from The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy: "The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything."

Be aware that the preview image seems to have a timeout and so longer text will likely timeout before generating a preview image. However, the object should still generate when you save and all should be well.

On your other question, the script does print out the dimensions that the object will become, however the thingiverse customizer doesn't allow me to print out that information in any way. Opening up the script in OpenSCAD will allow you to see that information.

Have fun.
