This is a replacement motor/servo mount for the HPI Venture that allows you to gear down to a 10T pinion with some modifications to the stock motor plate. Everything stays in the stock locations, but the mount holes need to be slotted to allow the lower tooth count pinions to mesh properly.
Push Plastic PETG
There is one hole that should either be tapped for M3 threads or super glued up after it splits, there's just not room for enough material to prevent this. Look at the pictures to see which hole. If glued you should install a m3 screw while letting it dry.
One of the Transmission mount screws needs to be replaced with a 15-16mm socket head screw for maximum clearance, see the pictures.
To gear down to the max you will need to slot a few holes on the motor plate. The center hole that the motor shaft passes though as well as the the slotted hole for the motor mount need to be extended down(the plastic piece behind the motor plate also needs to be slotted to match)
The servo mount is in the stock location but I recommend using the included 5mm spacer which corrects the steering geometry (Bump steer) and aligns the steering and panhard links.
The servo mount requires four M3 locknuts.
The servo and 5mm spacers (if you use them) need to be installed before connecting to the motor plate and transmission. When using the 5mm spacers four 18-20mm flat/tapered head screws are needed.
100% infill may not be needed but if you try to go lower use more perimeters to provide better thread engagment.
