Made using dual extrusion PLA Silver + PLA Transparent
Supports are required, but you must use "only touching build plate" as supports may be very difficult to remove from other areas.
Print the body parts with the flat side towards the build plate. You may need to flip over some of the SLT files.

Using Locate Knurl.pdf print, cut and lay over the bottom of the model. Use a knife to locate each of the holes
Using a knife remove the 0.1mm thin layer covering the knurl holes. Note: This was done
Sand the parts down to remove high points
In order to prevent blocking the light from the transparent areas, use a glazing putty that is transparent such as this UV activated putty.
If you don't have an UV curing light, the sun will work.
On the bottom I tested using red putty, being careful not to get any on the transparent sections. Note: the top turned out much better.
Install knurled fittings using a soldering iron to heat them up
Optional: add space damage to your model using a soldering iron + solder.
Using Light Masking.svg cut out vinyl masking to prevent paint from getting on the transparent areas.
Transfer the masking to the model to cover the lights .
using Ship_Centre_Paint_Holder.STL and some popsicle sticks, prepare the model for painting
Paint the model
Let your creativity show with the paint and space damage.
Assemble the legs (note: it is a good idea to test fit the legs before painting)
Remove the masking, apply clear coats to the whole model. Set aside to dry.
