I wanted to have smaller, portable, monitor/screen so this is what I came up with.
Screen, controller board and speakers I bought on Aliexpress, although you can get them on ebay.
For LCD I went with 10.1" LCD, model EJ101IA-01G, which is 1280x800 resolution IPS LCD screen.
Controller board goes by more names, like VS-TY2662-V2 or PCB800809. Things to watch for is that it's configured EJ101IA-01G type LCD's. There are more types of similar boards that work with EJ101IA-01G LCD's but they usually don't have connection for speakers so that's why I went with this one.
It comes with smaller keypad PCB, along with cable to connect it to main board, and small remote.
For speakers I just got small speakers for LCD monitors, they have some kind of model number, but google only returns this page so I guess it's only used by this seller.
I printed this with PETG to give it some flexibility when compared with PLA, mainly because of legs. But If you don't try to break them I guess PLA would also work without problems.
I tried to use sloped surfaces so it could be printed without supports. It printed successfully with PETG with part cooling fan turned off so I guess it worked :).
There are two versions of front frame, one with 2-2-2-2 and the other with 2-2-4-5 in it's name. This is edge clearance of LCD screen. The one I got has 2mm bezel on left side, 2mm on top, 4mm on right and 5mm on bottom.
Version with 2-2-2-2 is, as you guessed, for screens that have 2mm bezel on all sides. Although I'm not sure if there are screens like these. Thing is, when I measured it first I forgot to check all sides and went with 2-2-2-2.
When I first assembled it I figured that it's actually different on all sides so I made new 2-2-4-5 version. But who knows, maybe this one could be used on some screens so I left it.
Both fit this screen, only "problem" is that 2-2-2-2 version has few mm
Back frame fits on both, only difference is LCD "hole" and positioning.
FreeCAD file with all models is also included in download files.
Additionally, on bottom right side is small plate/block that can be cut out and is meant for small DPDT switch (I think model number is SS12F32) and on lower right side is round cutout that's meant for 3.5mm jack.
Idea is to add speaker jack to it, but since controller board has only one connector physical switch has to be used. At the moment I don't have these parts so this was the easier way to do it. Once I have them I won't have to cut holes in the frame or reprint it. Just pop these cutouts out.
