Since it's a Bowden system, have you found much advantage using the Titan instead of an aluminum stock Mk8 extruder?

My main reason for the switch was the MK8's bad spring, low-duty construction, and the increased torque provided by the geared extruder.

Yes! Yes, I am Very happy with the performance.

I won't lie though, this print is an intermediary for me, I' plan on converting to direct drive using the Titan pretty soon.


Which conversion are you planning on using?

I've printed, and am strongly considering, this one linked, but I'm probably going to modify the file to accept the stock part cooling fan.

Have you considered upgrading your Titan to a Titan Aero? They make a kit for it, and I've heard great things about the Aero. It makes sense to me to integrate into one component.

Yes, it will likely happen, just messing around learning really for now.
