What software do you use to edit the cover?

I always list the programs I use to design and print these in the thing details, just for future reference :)

But I use inkscape to trace the bitmap, and then covert it to an .stl using openscad. Then I take that .stl and etch it using tools in Blender. I have a video link showing my process if you'd like it?

Thank you for the fast reply. It would be awesome to see that video. I really appreciate this. Thank you.

Here's the link to the folder:

You can also get a slightly dated, but still very helpful step-by-step tutorial on a page I made back in college here:

https://www.appropedia.org/Blender_Design_on_Curved_Surfaces_Tutorial

It will supplement the video pretty well still.

The folder also has the extensions that are proven to work with inkscape. There's a lot of versions of them out there, and many do not work, so rather than go searching for them, feel free to download them from there. If you have any questions along the way, like where to put the extension folders, or anything else, let me know!

Included in the folder as well is a DLP/SLA resin 3d printing tutorial on how to make custom infill that works extremely well with that style of printing. Most slicers don't have a setting for the infill for this type of printing, so if you do venture down that road, this will help you a bunch as well!

Hope this helps

Sweet! So now I can cry everytime I play..
