Sorry to hear you are having trouble with this model. It downloads at 5.7-inches peak to base and is oriented flat on the bed at zero z-axis in Meshmixer. This must be oriented 45 degrees on the table or it is too big for a 5.5nch build platform. This could be the cause of your problem. Some slicers treat over sized models by making them very small.
