SCALE UP MODELS 10x to get correct size Ill fix that when I get a chance.
Was gonna buy an OTF knife for the fidget factor and decided i could get it from a plastic one haha. Designed this myself because i didn't wanna bother looking for springs and I figured just about any common rubber band would work making it easier for anyone else to make it.
For some odd reason my machine was giving me grief with some of the tolerances in this design making some areas tighter than others even though in the actual cad file the tolerances should be the same. Anyhow, just make sure the blade slides absolutely free and "Clicks" into place at each end. Sand areas on the blade carefully just enough so that everything is free and locks properly.
i recommend 4 walls and 50% infill on the slider so the rubber band doesn't warp the part, it shouldn't but i do it for peace of mind haha.
Use a Brim on the Lock Spring (unless you can get the very thin walls to stick)
Nothing else needs support or brim. just probably a skirt.
Assembly is simple, please refer to the photos.
use a rubber band around the slider and make sure it is snug (I had an average size rubber band and i had to double it)
Have Fun! Let me know any feedback!
