Hi. A question regarding your hot end: how is it heated up? I've also planned to make one with the same or similar design. Thanks!

Hi. Sorry fpr the late reply. In this picture the Heaterblock isn't mounted yet. It's a standard modular hotend. The wiring would go through the end effector and upwards.

OK, silly question - do the herringbone gears actually move the filament or do I need to find a hobbed bolt?

 Hy, perfect thing ;)
for 1.75 filament yet please :)
And 2 more holes so that you can use it on this slide

Thank you so much,
Unfortunately I can not because I can not Sketchup: (

whats the outer diameter of your bowden tube for 1,75mm filament ?

 there u go ;-)

Many many thanks :)early christmas

Is this a 3mm or 1.75mm extruder?

basically its for 3mm filament, but it depends on the bowden tube. it should work with every 6mm tube, but i assume if the inner diameter of it is i.e. 4mm, a 1,75 filament wouldn have too much space around, but i'm not shure about this issue. for a smaller one, the diameters of the extruder (via the original SCAD files from Jonas Kuehling), adapter and clamp. I'm going to  upload the skp files for that. Another option: tell me your needed diameter and i'll add them.
