(Note: an earlier version with a mis-oriented reset pin roof has now been corrected in this version. The design has been further improved by improving access to the reset pin hole while also providing for a deeper roof over it. This version also moves the insertion/retention ramp to the opposite side such that the sensor's plastic case engages the ramp rather than the adhesive foam. This should dramatically improve both device retention as well as aid in its eventual removal.)
This is both a housing and a mount for outdoor use of the Wyze Sense contact sensors. Provisions are made for a rain hood above the LED as well as the reset pin. The STL's uploaded here supports both roofs for full-weather protection and access.
The mount was designed to take a #8 screw. The devices are installed from the bottom; a ramp on the front wall prevents the devices from falling out and should provide for a snug fit provided the factory adhesive foam is kept intact.
Please note that the only opening available to remove any support is along the bottom. As this opening is rather small, especially for the magnet housing, please take this into consideration and customize your support accordingly.
In particular the roof over the LED is rather small, and if I were to do it again would consider doing without support for the LED roof and rather print that section using bridging. Also if printed in its default orientation the LED roof will be printed last, and as it is a rather small feature specifying some minimum time per layer in your slicer may be worth considering.
Otherwise it's a pretty straightforward print.
