Why did you relocate x end stop? How do you wire it from the moving x axis?

For the stepper motor mount, can you try to extend the upper layer to reach the edge of the upper metal frame? Because a lot of stress will be located there for the 2 mounting screws, so more clearance between the hole and the mount edge is better, especially this mount will be printed up and the layer adhesion will be lowest on that orientation. So the more material there the better. Other than that, for the motor 4 mount holes, I suggest you to consider to add 5mm offset so motor is mount more outside, this is to correct the original belt design which is not centered, but have offset, which will increase and decrease belts tension due to ganty and hotend location. Thanks!

Hi,

I don't see where the shaft adapter is meant to go. Do I need one or two of them?

Thx

Hi. The shaft adapter goes onto the shaft of the stepper motor, if you are intended to use the stock pulleys. It is needed, since the stock pulleys have an 8mm hole, but the stepper motors have a 5mm shaft, thus there is a gap between them, and the shaft adapters goes to fill this gap. You'll need 2 adapters: one for the X motor, and one for the Y.

For the motor mount, is it possible to have it flash with the front frame surface, so enclosure installation is easier?.

Hi, unfortunately its not possible, because the mount has to get over the edge of the top plate, for stability reasons.

Great upgrade! Please print with PETG or Nylon. Especially for the top motor mount, as it will undergo long term consistent load, PLA will creep or deform so it may last for short while.... until it is not.

Printing as we speak! I'll probably postpone installing the parts until I finish my Youtube review of the Sapphire S though. I'm thinking a followup video of the upgrades, I will of course credit you and post the link to these in the description. :)

Thanks!

thanks, please pm me the review once its uploaded :) i'm really looking forward for your opinion on the printer, and the mods too.
