A simple chassis for Smartibot (the bluetooth and A.I. enabled robotics platform) in the form of a platform on which LEGO bricks can be attached to build more complex robots. Sits happily on 43mm diameter LEGO wheels which you can attach to the motors with an adaptor such as this or use the cardboard wheels that come with your Smartibot. Assembles using the M3 nuts and bolts and marble (for the castor) included in the Smartibot kit.
0.8 mm nozzle, 0.3 mm layer height
Print the body and lid right-side-up and the castor upside down.
This will only work if you assemble it in this order:
Place marble in castor holder in body and attach castor lid with nuts (M3) and shorter bolts (M3 x 8). Place battery box into top of body and thread battery box wire through large hole in front of body. Attach, with nuts and shorter bolts, PCB with battery box wire plugged in and battery box in position. Move battery box slightly out of body (so it is clear of the lid fixings) and switch on. Attach lid with nuts and shorter bolts. Put battery box back in position under lid. Attach motors with nuts and longer bolts (M3 x 25) and connect wires to PCB. Use plug and unplug power jack to power Smartibot on and off.
