This is a spacer that will allow a roll of filament to fit into a Nesco Dehydrator. It should fit the following Nesco models: FD-61, FD-61WHC, FD-75A and FD-75PR.
It is split into parts so that it will fit on a 3d printer. I was able to print it in 5ths on a Prusa MK3s. I included a few other sizes. Just print the correct number based on the size you choose.
Connect the pieces with zip ties or with the printable joining clips. The clips are designed to fit tightly. I had to tap mine in (lightly) with a hammer. (Push the clip in from the outside, then place the whole thing clip side down on a hard surface and tap the inside with a hammer)
The test stl is an 8th and it's height is shorter than the normal version
Use a brim! I found that I needed one for my test prints. I forgot it on the final version. Prusa's crash detection saved the print, but there was some warping that I think was the result of bad bed adhesion.
I suggest you print one at a time until you're sure you have warping and adhesion issues worked out. I also included a smaller test version in case you want to test the fit. I find it fits better if you use official trays over and under it .
I translated the steps from salfter's OpenScad file to Fusion360 (I wish there was an easier way to do this )and then modified the design to add a way to join the pieces easily
