Hi AnDuong,
It will help a lot.Actually, I havean Alfawise U20.
It tried to print the fan casing on the two directions, fancase facing down and up but the result was similar for the external layer.
The fancase facing down had for result the image in attachement.

Thank you in advance,

Thingiverse doesn’t allow me to upload my printing profile here so if you inbox me your email address, I’ll send it over to you

Not a problem, I'll upload the profile here for you when I get home tonight

Hello AnDuong,

I have some issues with my print (10mm/s with resolution of 0.15mm bed at 60° and extruder to 200) as you can see on the pictures.
The external layer has not all the time a good surface and the inner part are not perfect too.
Can you give me some advice for the support configuration.

Thank you in advance,

Hi Edosensei92,
It's very strange that you still have defects on the outer wall. I only experienced that when I printed it too fast (above 30mm/s).
If you want, I can export my printing profile for this model and send it to you if that may help?
Also, I printed the model with the Fancase facing down - looking at your pictures, I'm guessing you printed it the other way around?

Amazing! I`ll print this right now with 20% Infill and a Resolution of 0,15mm and a printing speed of 40mm/s should be enough. Estimated print time about 6 hours, so I think 7, just for the Engine Casing.
Thanks for sharing the project perfect, for all the people who have a small build plate like me (150x150x180).

Hi Brokenladder,

Apologies for my delayed response. I would suggest you to print the outer layer at 10 - 15mm/s to achieve the best surface finish. If you print it too fast, it may leave some defects on the skin :)
