Speaking as someone who makes a living from repairing things like laptops - I can see this as a sure fire way to bust the stem out of your USB ports.
Perhaps add a flange or some kind of support to help avoid that.

And I second the comment about the ruler idea. that would be handy.

I'd almost expect to see a bathroom key dangling from that. :)

u could engrave a ruler ontop.
but then again thats boring.. and the USB plug cracking capabilities wouldnt remain its only purpose. XD
