A simple fruit picker for small fruit like cherry. Basically a similiar design like the one my grandpa always has used for picking apples (but that was in the last century and wasn't 3d printed)
The outline is half circle so the handle fits on the print bed. Just add a bag (I used gauze from insect protection for window) and a handle (I used a telescopic rod for wall painting). The socket is a press fit for the rod used, adjust the scad params accordingly.
The stls supplied are for 120mm diameter with 7 cutouts and 140mm diameter with 9 cutouts. These fit on my print bed and are suitable for cherry. If you need different, adjust params P20 - P22 accordingly.
The handle socket is 30mm long, slightly conical with 21mm inner and 23mm outer diameters and tight fits a 3m telescopic rod normally used for wall painting. If you need another socket, adjust params P31 - P33 in the scad file accordingly.
The attachment bores are for M3 screws.
For the bag I used surplus gauze I had available. The bag is fixated using M3 screws and closed using cable ties. Or use some textile material, e.g. an old T-shirt just as well.
I printed with 2 perimeters and 20% infill and the tool is strong enough.
