Hey! This thing is still a Work in Progress. Files, instructions, and other stuff might change!

Work in the Ender 3 pro?

Can I know which kind of sensor do you mounted?? Is this a capacitive one that can recognize a bed glass?
Please post the name of sensor. Many thanks

This is the sensor I used https://amzn.to/3382LoU

The ABL mount is designed to be used with an 18mm sensor can be either inductive or capacitive. In this one I had used an inductive sensor

I really like this except I wish it had a 40mm fan mount for the v6, otherwise it's great gonna try it out to get rid of the huge one I use now. Would you mind sharing the CAD files as I'm going to remix it to support a 40mm fan

Do you change the motor? If yes do you change you vrep?

I originally just used the stock motor but did change it to a smaller one later. Since I'm running TMC 2208 in UART mode I changed the motor current in firmware. I'm only running 250mA on my current motor. If you are using the stock board you will have to change your vref for your new motor

So now that the v6 extruder is approx. 20mm in front of the stock extruder what settings do you adjust? Just printed this and installed it. It's great! But it probes off the bed now. Thanks!

Use M206 y## to add a homing offset. Mine is set to -15. Easy way to test is set an offset m206 y-15 then G28 y to Home you Y axis then G1 Y0 to test your 0 position. Tweak the offset until your happy with where the nozzle ends up. Make sure you use M500 to save

Were the screws that came with the BMG long enough to fit through the bracket and into the stepper? Or did you have to use longer screws?

no you will need 2 3mmx40 and 1 3mmx45

Would you mind sharing the CAD files so I can adapt it to a CR-10S?

Great! thanks a lot!

awesome work. how is the performance? I have been looking for a way to get direct drive on my Pro for a few weeks

Been great. Direct drive with the BMG and V6 is a huge improvement over the stock Bowden extruder and hotend.

I want to go with a bondtech bltouch setup. how was the installation process?

Installation is very simple and straight forward. My original design I used for a few months was not user friendly and in redesigning I tried to keep it as simple as possible. I also wanted something I could service the extruder and hotend without a lot of hassle.

I've currently got he MicroSwiss right now.

I don't have a microswiss but I might take a stab at making a mount that supports it while keeping the general design concept. I will have to make a hotend fan mount as well. This should also work with the stock hotend as well
