This was sculpted using as you can see an original low-poly game character as the base model. I find using the low poly models saves me a great amount of time in actually making a low poly base to start the sculpt with. I have not printed it yet but it looks sound, I just thought I'd pop as many as I can up while I have the time as commissioned work has taken a bit of my spare time away.

I tried to pint this and it was a fail

I'm a newbie to this stuff- this was one of the first things I tried for my grandson. I tried it on a new FlashForge Finder (PLA) after scaling up to 70mm. The software added a treelike support structure, quite elaborate, so I went ahead. After it successfully printed I tried to snap the supports off- Sonic just disintegrated into hands, feet, etc. So I tried it again with just one or 2 supports I added in, a total disaster. I see that some people did fine with it- any suggestions would be most welcome, my grandson was VERY disappointed.

Set the stand off for the support a bit farther so its easier to remove, or glue the parts that fell off back on
