Silly quick question.. how deep were the magnets you used? I see 13mm wide, but not how deep.
Have it printed up to the waist right now,,, working on the chest today and tomorrow.. love this design.

I would also like to know the height of the magnets used, currently trying to source the ones for the magnetized shoulders.

The one's I've used are about 0.3cm. Though there's nothing stopping you from using a thicker magnet.

Hi! Such an amazing job! I'll be getting my first dlp printer (anycubic photon most likely) within a couple of months. I read the amount of resin you used and I'm wondering: are those solid pieces or hollow ones? If those are solid pieces, is there any way to make them hollow? Maybe putting holes in parts that will remain hidden in the model so the resin inside can leak to the bed as it prints.

I have specified which parts I have hollowed in the description. I left the decision for hollowing up to the individual, and is relatively easy to do in MeshMixer. :)

Amazing work! I was following it on facebook and I'm glad to see the final results. Is it scaled to fit on a photon print bed? Or is it scaled to match a lookalike resin model instead?

Thanks! Yes on both counts. It is sliced to fit on a Photon. And it is scaled to match a real life Tuna of the Communist Fish People.

Sorry, what FB group? I'm always interested in following this sort of quality work!

Mostly the AnyCubic Photon Owners group

whoa Bentanwheihao, this is complex printing. amazing design though. I always wanted to print a Mech. I do not do resin but FDM on a Prusa and really considering to give it a try. I wonder if it would be possible to get images of the explosion pictures in better resolution to be able to better plan ahead? I do always multicolor and it would be very helpfull to get a better idea where to change filament. I am thinking about White as the base color and then SparklingBlue and PerlGold for details as weapon tips, classic manga style.

Incredible. Can't wait to see what other fish you catch down the road.

Started Printing! Going to be a long long print time for all this lot! That Chest_T is huge! :D

Yes it is! I’ve sliced it such that it just fits one build plate. Tell me how it goes!

LOOKS LIKE MEAT IS BACK ON THE MENU BOYS!!!

Beautiful Tuna, amazing job :).

Nice tuna! where did you catch it?
