I made one. I did not leave it on, as it produced quite more vibrations than the original part, without a significant increas in Air flow. My Motor only has a small hole for Air outlet..

I built one of these, modifying it slightly to fit my 500W spindle thats 57mm in diameter, also changed the the number of holes for optical sensor to 30. When I tested it it made me realise that there is quite a science to air flow, despite the logical thinking that the blades would "pull" the air up and away from the spindle assuming clockwise rotation. It turns out they do the oposite I assume by creating a vacume under the spinner. Even so I can report that the spindle does indeed run cooler. I am going to try modify the blade design, maybe looking a bit more like the "Dremel Devil"
