Summary

A friend of mine was having a house warming party. I couldn't think what to give him as a gift, so I found his house on Google street view and made a model of it as a money box.
I had to guess what the back looked like from the aerial view.
I don't know how common this type of house is, but someone else might want a copy.
The bottom has a coin operated (ironic) bung to open it.

I do appologise,You are quite right I must have rescaled it somehow without realising though I dont know how .
My house is approx 112 X 79 and I guess the bung was full size . That explains why the money slot only takes very small coins
Time for a reprint I think

Don

Oh, that's a shame, would have been better if the bung needed re-printing.

No my build plate is 200 X 200 , I printed both the bung and house together

I could have understood if I had printed them separately and acidentally sacled one by mistake

That's weird. I just downloaded the models from Thingiverse and checked them in Netfabb, they're all the correct size.
Maybe you can measure the ones you have and see what's wrong?

Hi , I made the house and bung and the house printed really good
but the bung was far too big for the hole

Maybe you scaled the house down when you put it on your build plate - what size is the base of the house that you printed in mm?
The house should be 150.75mm x 106.494mm (and 90mm high)
The bung should be 55.518mm x 55.518mm x ( 9mm thick)
If you scaled the house to fit on a 100x100 build plate, the bung will need to be scaled to 36.83 x 36.83 x 5.97

How did you make the model from Google street view?

Not automatically unfortunately, I looked at it on street view and then used a CAD package to model it.

It is look like a real house

well played... did they enjoy the gift?

did you know nick

Thanks, yes, they did :)
