These could be used for various purposes, but I made them to help keep track of network jacks and cables in unfamiliar, undocumented locations for cases when I need to disconnect them.
Various PLA, ABS, PETG
Horizontal Size Compensation: -0.04
Small cable ties
RJ45 crimp tool
Pre-crimp the RJ45 plugs to depress the conductors and snap the the knockout section free.
Join tag halves of your chosen colors, halves should fit snugly but not so tightly that the parts are bowed or distorted.
Pass the cable tie through the knockout in the plug and the hole in the joined tag.
I included no clearance fit in the design, strongly recommend using Simplify3D's Horizontal Size Compensation or the equivalent.
Intended to print as the objects import, on edge.
Print at least two pairs of each color; pair colors so that tags can't be mistaken for each other in gloomy conditions.
