Summary

Custom profiles for Makerware Slicer, the fast slicer in Makerware.
Initially Makerware Slicer was called Miracle Grue.

Instructions

Custom profiles for printing PLA and ABS on a Replicator 2 with Makerware Slicer (aka Miracle Grue), the fast slicing engine in Makerware. Tested with Makerware 2.1.0, Sailfish firmware 7.4 r1031 and Makerbots original extruder upgrade for the Replicator 2.

During testing the actual diameter of the filament measured between 1,70 and 1,73 mm. Please print a calibration cube to check against under- or overextrusion with your filament.

After unzipping copy everything into the folder Profiles in My Things. See screenshot of Explorer.

Select a Profile with the desired layer height, total number of shells and percentage of fill in the Make It window of Makerware.

Updated on 2013-05-02 with a standard "feedstockMultiplier" of 0.97 and a reduced print temperature of 215°C for PLA.

I have started to recalibrate these profiles for Makerware 2.4 and have been getting good results. I will post the files as soon as I am done. I have a rep2 so I will be able to update the PLA versions

Sorry - I don't use Makerware 2.4.x. Recalibrating for every new version takes too much time.

Could be - just try it.
Please be aware that these profiles were made with Makerware 2.1.X.
Makerware 2.2.X has different profiles with another structure.

Thanks for the updates! Curiously, on the 2013-03-23 version of 0,15mm - 2 shell - 100%, the infill looked like a dense grid (with tiny gaps in between) and was not nearly as solid as the MW Medium default setting modified to the same parameters. Did not dig into the profile to see if I could locate the cause. Sorry.

would it be posable that these would work with a Rep 1?
