This minimalist tall laptop stands is suitable for lighter laptops like the 13" MacBook Pro.
While it may be suitable for heavier and larger laptops it has not been tested for this use case.
While printing place the left and right assemblies make sure the cross bar connector is facing up. While placing the crossbar make sure that the extrusions on either side are flush against the print bed. When properly placed no supports should be needed.
In order to fit the left and right assemblies on the Prusa i3 Mk3s print bed I had to disable the skirt. Other than that every thing works as expected.
In order to fit the right and left assemblies on the print bed you need to set skirt height to 0. (aka disable skirt). If you don't the stand won't fit.
I recommend that you use 7 solid top and bottom layers.
I recommend that you use 5 perimeter layers.
I recommend a minimum of 20% gyroid infill.
The crossbar extrusion should snugly fit in the corresponding holes in the left and right assemblies. Place a drop of super glue into the hole and press the crossbar into it. Let it dry for at least 15 minutes and repeat for the other side.
