Mock Nerf Suppressor/Silencer/Moderator.
I am still testing the fit on various blasters But it fits well on the Rapidstrike, Stryfe and Rayvern. It fits to the Tri-Strike but have noticed the tolerances on the tri-strike barrel means it is a little more of a tight fit compared to the others.
I need to modify the lugs slightly as it required some minor filing to get it to line up straight and I might drop the hole size down a fraction as it's very easy to strip the threads on the 8 main holes.
I do not yet know if it impacts on performance but if anyone tries it out, let me know the feedback.
Enlarged bottom hole by 0.2
Shrunk main ring holes by 0.2
Shrunk Lugs by 1mm
Added flashlight variant and mount.
Tweaked flashlight variant to ease printing without supports for the flashlight mount. Designed to work with cheap led flashlights of ~25mm diameter.
This is still somewhat in the development phase but the last version (in photos) I printed using a CR-10S with Microswiss all metal hotend using Cura 4.2 and the Creawsome profile for 0.28.
I suggest orientating the piece so your seam runs on the underside of both pieces. The supports are really only needed for the lugs but if need a smooth surface on the end cap and your printer struggles on the top layer, it is worth printing upside down and using supports for the recessed holes.
For end cap you will need 9 screws (3mm) M3x16 work well.
For flashlight mount you will need 1 screw (3mm) M3x10-16 and two ~3-4mm cables ties of suitable length.
