Lamp shade

I know it's been a few years, but I wanted to comment:

I have a fairly cheap Walmart-ish Torchiere + articulated reading lamp in the bedroom. I reached-over last night to turn it off and the lampshade (after a couple years of daily use with a full-spectrum CFL) disintegrated in my fingers. Just "poof!" turned to dust.

Before designing a new one, I checked Thingiverse - there's a lot of really pretty lamp shades here, but none I came across in ~30mins of looking seemed to match the very simple lines of this light - until I landed on yours. It appears perfect, and nicer looking than the one it's replacing.

I tinkered with it a bit in TinkerCAD after measuring the inside of the nut that secures it to the lamp to enlarge the hole a couple millimeters. Paused the printing a few times to measure the hole on the bed and make sure it's at least half a millimeter larger than the hole in the nut - all now looks good. I'll let you [all] know in about 7hrs how it came out. ;-)

Thank you so much for sharing it!
