How do you get this to fit?

Are you printing this case in 200 microns or 100 microns, and how long does it take to make one?

Didn't fit on my iPad Mini w/ Retina Display :( Any chance of changing the design a bit to fit the newer iPad Mini? It's a hair thicker I believe.

Hi Sefeing, we have tested many prints and it fits both wifi and wifi with 4g models. you can try scaling up by 1.01 and try printing again. Thanks Ryan

Hmm, will give it a shot. I know there is a difference in thickness between the first gen iPad mini and the (2nd gen) iPad Mini w/ Retina display. .03 MM i believe.

Did you get this to ever fit? trying to get a retina cover too

thanks for the fast reply. I have been thinking about making a idevice case to sell on trademe(New Zealand website like ebay) so i could afford a 3d printer. I was wondering if i could edit your design and sell about 5 on the website. I would you give you created and have a link to your website. Is that alright by you as i don't really wont a fine. Thanks again.

Sorry for all these questions. Is there any way you could give me a blank template to work off? Thanks

Hi James, You can use our blank template, check our design page all that we request is that you change the design and you give us a mention on the page that you wish to be selling these. Thanks Ryan

Thank you so much Ryan. I will give mention on the website an will tell my friends with 3d printers to check you out. Thanks

Hi James I am sorry but we have set the license to non commercial so we do not allow this as we trialled this and it went horribly wrong. You can design your own using the apple technical diagrams just search for them.

Hi i am new to 3d printing and i was wondering if you had a file for sketchup so i can customise it. Thanks

Hi I am sorry but i do not have a sketchup file but if you use netfabb and convert it to 3ds you can import it in to sketchup. Thanks Ryan

Newb here, tried to print the case and all I got was a flat layout...used the medium settings in Makeware with a Replicator 2...any hints? thank you!

not to sure what has happened We suggest contacting makerbot as we have had no issues printing, Thanks
