The design made by lgaga is an spectacular work. With its realization, the total elimination of the noise produced by the cars of the X and Y axes against the structure is achieved. With my modest contribution, what is also achieved is to increase the print area of the Ender 5 by 10 mm, reaching a total of 230 mm of effective area, yes, speeding the hot bed to the limit.
To achieve this, I have slightly reduced the dimensions of the piece corresponding to the Y axis and have oversized the slot in which the screw enters, so that the piece can be easily adjusted. With this, both who wants to hurry the printing area and who wants to leave it as it was in origin, can adjust the piece to your liking.
I have seen two different versions in the anchoring of the piece that supports the X-axis limit switch. One is attached to the profile through which the X-axis carriage runs through a screw that is threaded directly to the profile. The other version has the usual captive nut of the V-Slot profile. The latter can adjust the location of the limit switch to speed up to 230 mm of useful area. The former, in case they do not have an original nut, can print this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2677626 and use it to attach the limit switch to the profile.
