this is my best upgrade for my cnc 3018 pro (and maybe 3018 old version).
you can re-use bearing for Z and X axis.
For End-stop, you need to glue or drill your sensors fixing.
Depending of your 3d printer, it's maybe necesary to add a point of glue to fix the bearings.
Before install of pronged tee nut, you need to cut the hooks.
/!\ Due to conception, the lead screw can touch your part during milling /!\
You can adjust the lenght of your screw to prevent that. Don’t forget to make a chamfer after cut.
For 500w spindle and new z axis length.
Z axis more strengh
End stop pad inclued on z axis.
New Z length : 86mm
New y axis wide : 75mm (without end pad)
red : 500w spindle
green : x axis / cnc bed
white : y + z axis new parts
distance between spindle tool nut and cnc bed:
spindle down: 13mm
spindle up: 103mm
YOU NEED NEW PART FOR ASSEMBLY
- x1 lead screw t8 lenght 250mm
- x2 bearing for t8 lead screw (8X16X5)
- x1 nut anti backlash
- x4 screw M3 lenght 25mm
- x2 axis 8mm length 300mm
- x4 washer for M6 screws
- x4 screw M6 length 80mm
- x4 pronged tee nut M6
3 layers minimum on each sides for each parts.
